Nigel's New Friend

I found a new stuffed hedgehog at the grocery store of all places.  Here are a few snaps of Nigel meeting his new friend.

Button Lip

Phoebe has button lip again - its an allergic reaction to something - usually airborne.  Its technical name is eosinophillic granuloma complex.  I believe that this outbreak was directly related to the massive pollen drop we just endured here.  I am totally convinced she has seasonal allergies.  I treat her button lip with colloidal silver.  Luckily she likes it and will drink it for me with no issues.  I give her about a teaspoon in the morning and in the evening -  usually for 3 - 5 days.  This usually clears it right up.


If not - I can take her in to the vet for a steroid shot - haven't had to do this so far.  I think this is the third time she has had this.  I will keep an eye on her....

Up close - Nigel was sniffing the camera as I flashed him in the middle of the afternoon.  I am lucky he is a good sport about all the pictures I take.

Art is hard

I am taking this crazy art class online where I try to draw something every day.  While I haven't tried to draw my babies much - I want to get better first - I have been drawing some animals.  I kinda like the koala - not so sure about the dog.....Art is HARD....

Meet Henry

Henry is my outside pet - he is a skink and he lives on my porch - this is his third year with me.  At least I believe he is the same little guy that comes back every year.  He has it good as sometimes I leave him a little pile of Nigel's freeze dried crickets and worms.  He drinks from the birdbath and is actually fairly tame.  He and Zoey share the porch sometimes as she has absolutely no interest in Henry at all....
