Madison Update

So - it's been 7 days since Madison received her implant.  While she was never what I would call 'sick', she was losing hair and maybe a bit more itchy than usual.

On the day she got her implant she was quite sleepy and quiet - mainly from the bit of anesthesia she received.  By day two she was pretty much back to her normal self.  As the week has progressed she has been pretty status quo but I think that the levels in her little body are back in line.  Most of the literature says it can take up to 14 days but I think it has worked faster for her.

Today - for the first time in a few weeks - she was full of piss and vinegar this morning.  She was racing around critter land - making the happy ferret noise (dooking) and tackling her siblings.  It's so good to see her feeling great.  Crazy little ferret!

I still haven't totally convinced the hubs that we should go ahead and implant the other ferrets but given the results with Madison I am more in favor than ever!
