Holy heck - how did it get to be July already? I did a pretty darn crappy job of blogging in June - only about half of goal - there is just too much to get done in a day.
June was a pretty darn good critter month. I guess our big happening for June was Winston's vet visit. His annual (thank goodness we only go through it once a year) physical, vaccinations and tusk trim went fabulously and he is a very healthy pig! This makes the pig mom happy. We also checked Violet's numbers (glucose) while the vet was here and she was at a fabulous 92! WOOT! We love healthy critters!
The puppies learned to swim in June - okay - they already knew how to swim technically - but we worked on getting them in the pool and getting used to it - they are making progress!! It's a great way to tucker them out.
Piggy and pups have all enjoyed their daily walks outside the backyard fence. The pups run and wrestle and Winston follows us around finding yummy grasses to graze on and new and interesting places to root.
Winston got his awesome box of goodies for the summer gift exchange in our pig group - he is still enjoying those fruity Cheerios!!
The kitties are all three doing well - all at healthy weights and holding strong. All of them seem happy and healthy and they are as lazy as ever. Crazy kitties!
The little weasels - oh I do love that crazy bunch - they are all just great. They are on a great schedule right now and everyone is very engaged and happy to join me for morning chores, visits throughout the day and evening chores and loves. Violet takes her meds like a champ. Kai helps the kitties with their canned cat food and the rest of the gang is enjoying frequent servings of gravy (ferret food with warm water on it).
All in all - June was great for the zoo!! July is already proving to be busy. Tomorrow is Winston's birthday!! 3 years old! I will be posting pics of his birthday party! On Tuesday we will be watching the pups closely to make sure they are not stressed by 4th of July shenanigans. On the 12th we will test Violet's numbers to make sure she is good to go.
