Weekend Recap

I know I always say it but - where do the weekends go? Cripes!  It shouldn't be Monday morning already. The weekend was good - pretty uneventful in the world of critters but there are a few stories to share.

Saturday was spent doing outside chores which meant that Emma and Winston got to play outside of the fence which they love.  The weather is finally cooperating - getting a bit warmer and less pollen in the air. Another week or so and it will be safe to venture outside without allergy protection.  The good news is that the air quality has improved enough that none of the critters are having allergy symptoms!  The little critters were wild - full of energy and orneriness.

Sunday was just busy - lots to get done, places to be.  Kitties and ferrets were happy and healthy on my morning and evening visits.  Emma played outside a good bit in the morning, same with Winston.  In the afternoon the humans were gone so piglet and pup had to be inside in their respective areas.  When we got home we had uncooperative critters.  Winston absolutely refused to go potty before bed - no matter what I tried he just wasn't going.  Emma made a big mess while we were out - naughty pup.  Then she decided it was important to dig on the carpet in the middle of the night - multiple times.  And then - of course - at 4:30 piglet had to pee.  Needless to say - it was not the most restful night.  Sigh...

All in all - it was a good critter weekend.  Everyone seems to be happy and feeling good.  Hopefully tonight will go smoother...

Happy Monday
