10 pm

What does 10 pm look like at the zoo?  Emma is snoozing on the bedroom floor.  Zoey and Phoebe are hanging out on our bed busily bathing.  Finnegan and Madison are wrestling under the comforter.  Violet is downstairs playing with Oliver.  Aggie is snoozing on the couch downstairs.  Nigel is munching on some worms after a workout on his wheel and Clooney is munching on a stick after carousing with the other ferrets and kitties.

This is a pretty typical night around here.  With the addition of the babies - they play with each other and with Madison so the three of them are worn out and they rarely come up on the bed and wake us at night.  Sometimes they wake us playing and making a racket but that's different.  Madison used to come up on the bed and wake us often - now she is too exhausted from hours of ferret fun to bother.

Everyone seems happy and healthy and settled in for the night.  I am glad tomorrow is Friday.....
