The Dog and the Hog

How about a Nigel and Emma update?  Let's do Emma first.

Emma dog seems to be doing pretty well.  We have been doing some outside time while I do yardwork and we have slipped in a couple of walks.  It's been pretty miserable with the pollen so we may have to suspend for a bit.  I think healthwise she is going strong - not maladies to report.  She does her nesting thing (scratching on the carpet) lots which drives me crazy.  She loves the baby ferrets and often stands guard watching over them as they play or sleep.  All in all I think she is doing really well and she seems pretty happy.

Nigel - my sweet hedgehog boy.  He is so go with the flow on most everything.  He is still sharing his cage with Clooney on occasion.  We haven't had any major adventures since the one two combo of foot stuck in the carpet and not being able to find him for 18 hours.  Healthwise he also seems to be going strong.  He had to get his back toenails cut which he really hates - it takes lots of coaxing and patience to get them done.  He doesn't seem to mind the babies - he huffs at them but not very seriously.  He is due for a cage cleanout and a bath.
