Zoey's Trip to the Vet

Snitty kitty Miss Zoey went to the vet today.  She hadn't been in a couple of years and she has been losing some weight so I thought we should take her in.  I dread having to vet her - she is such a snagglepuss when it comes to strangers.  She is hissy, growly and pretty much unpleasant to the folks who are trying to check her over.  This visit was no different.

First we did a blood draw.  I asked them to do it in the room because she is such a pain.  They wrapped her in a towel and did their thing.  They got blood on the first poke even despite her wiggling and screeching at the top of her lungs.  Then the Dr came in and did her exam - she growled for the entire time but was fairly cooperative otherwise.

As suspected - hyperthroid was confirmed.  She will go on the same gel that Ollie is on.  Her other blood results were good - nothing alarming and nothing kidney which I was a little worried about.  So - all in all - good stuff.  We will get her levels back in check and she should be good to go.  I didn't get too many pictures of this snarly visit - but here are a couple.  Don't let the pictures fool you:

So - only Aggie and Phoebe left to get in for check ups and then all 10 will be current!  Woohoo....
