I will say - I do have very affectionate critters. I think they get this from me as everyone in the household gets picked up, loved on, kissed on, sung to, etc multiple times a day. Each "child" has their own unique way of showing affection:
Emma - with the hubs - she jumps up on him. I know, terrible habit but that's his thing with her. She will give kisses and she definitely uses her tail as a way of communicating happiness.
Clooney - depending on when you catch him - he does love to cuddle when he is sleepy and he likes to have you rest your hand on him when he is sleeping. He also gives ferret kisses - usually on the hand between your thumb and pointer finger or right under your nose above your lip.
Nigel - now how affectionate can a pokey little critter be? Surprisingly so - If you catch him in the right mood he will crawl up your shirt and nuzzle your neck with his face. He makes the cutest noise when he does this - a snuffle of sorts. He loves to give ear kisses and nibble on your hair.
Phoebe - she is famous for the head butt of love. This usually happens when you are in the tub - she rubs her face and head on your face - its very sweet.
Aggie - she is the self petter - if you are laying in bed she will walk the length of you rubbing her side against you. Lately she has been doing the lap thing as well.
Oliver - oh the boy kitty - he is the love biter - soft most of the time but sometimes he does get carried away. He likes to love bite your nose - not really my favorite. He too rubs his face and head on you - mostly on your shoulder when you are holding him.
And then there is Zoey - she wants to be on you - if you are stationary it is her goal to be on your lap, legs, back, chest, neck, arm - you get the picture. She is bath cat - regardless of whether you are dirty or not you will get licked.....
All the cats are kissers - some days this goes over better than others. I am lucky to experience the critter affection each day....
